Counselor I is a full-time (35 hours per week) position, providing support to residents with a behavioral health diagnosis in their apartments in the community or within a group home. The Counselor I will teach daily living skills, coordinate care, and assist residents with achieving their greatest independence. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, plus one year of paid behavioral health experience. A personal vehicle, clean driving record, and background checks (with drug testing) are required. Compensation starts at $26.00 per hour.

Community Counselor is a full-time (35 hours per week) position, providing support to behavioral health clients to ensure their successful integration into the community. This position will have a caseload of adults diagnosed with a mental illness, at risk of or previously homeless. The Community Counselor will liaise with landlords and service providers to foster an on-going therapeutic relationship supportive of the client's individual recovery and goals. They will assist in maintaining the client's independence by encouraging the development of daily living skills, and managing linkages and referrals as needed. All meetings will be conducted in the client’s apartment. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, plus one year of paid behavioral health experience. A personal vehicle, clean driving record, and background checks (with drug testing) are required. Compensation starts at $25.25 per hour.

Resident Counselor (RC) is a full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20 hours) Duties include teaching daily living skills to residents: cooking, managing personal hygiene, effective socialization, medication management, budgeting finances, navigating the community, etc. Hours are typically second shift (4 p.m. to midnight, and/or weekends), but there may be flexibility in hours. Please include your availability, if limited, when applying. A bachelor’s degree (or junior or senior standing) in a Human Services field (psychology, social work, sociology, education); A bachelor’s degree in any field plus two years of paid experience in health or human services or customer service; CASAC; An associate’s degree in mental health/substance abuse counseling or human services plus one year of paid experience in health or human services or customer service; or a high school degree plus 3 years of paid health or human services experience or customer service are required. Valid driver’s license and background checks (with drug test) required. Please specify if interested in full or part time. Compensation starts at $20.50 per hour.

Awake Overnight Counselor is a full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20 hours) position, providing coverage and support generally from midnight to 8 a.m. (The part-time position may have some daytime hours, depending on the unit). The AOC is available to manage any emergencies, count and supervise medications, assist in unit upkeep and organization, and file paperwork. Minimum qualifications include a high school degree, plus 3 years of paid experience in human services or customer service. Valid driver’s license and background checks (with drug test) required.
